Erectile dysfunction issues, is the deficiency of ability to achieve and
maintain and erection suitable for lovemaking. Of course, it's not at
all typical to have this sort of condition, regardless of age, and this
is different from other issues that intervene with lovemaking, such as
deficiency of libido and issues with orgasms and ejaculations.
Levitra tablets and orodispersible tablets contain the active ingredient vardenafil, which is a medicine used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction (impotence). Vardenafil is called a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor, and works by preventing the action of a chemical in the body called phosphodiesterase type 5.
Phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5), another enzyme breaks down (destroys) cGMP.
When cGMP is destroyed the blood vessels return to their normal size,
effectively ending the erection. Vardenafil inhibits PDE5 degradation of
cGMP, i.e. it prolongs cGMP's function. In other words, it helps
prolong an erection.
Dosage levitra is available in 2.5, 5, 10, and 20 mg round orange tablets. Most patients start on 10 mg, which is approximately equivalent to 50 mg of sildenafil (Viagra). Patients should take Levitra about 1 or two hours before sex, and should not have more than one tablet every 24 hours. In the UK and some other parts of the world, the only available doses are 5, 10 and 20 mg.
